Thoughtful psychiatric medication management for children, teens, adults, and reproductive mental health.
Psychiatric medication decisions can become complicated quickly. Many patients arrive feeling overwhelmed by prior diagnoses, multiple medication trials, side effects, conflicting advice, or uncertainty about what to do next.
Linda Perry helps patients sort through that complexity carefully and develop a treatment plan that truly makes sense.
Linda is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife, an uncommon combination that brings added depth to medication decisions across life stages — including childhood, adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive mental health.
Care Across Life Stages
Linda’s practice includes several areas of focus, all connected by the same philosophy: careful evaluation, thoughtful prescribing, and helping patients move forward with greater clarity.
Pregnancy & Reproductive Mental Health
Medication consultation for pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, fertility treatment, and pregnancy planning.
Children & Teens
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children and adolescents, with a careful, family-centered approach.
Adults
Thoughtful medication care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns — especially when treatment has become confusing or frustrating.
A calmer, more sensible approach to psychiatric medication
Mental health treatment can become tangled for many reasons: medications that helped only partially, side effects that made treatment hard to tolerate, changing diagnoses, pregnancy-related concerns, or simply too many opinions about what to do next.
Linda’s approach is designed to slow that process down.
She carefully reviews each patient’s history, listens closely to current concerns, and considers the whole clinical picture before recommending medication options. The goal is not to add complexity, but to reduce it — helping patients move toward a plan that feels clear, manageable, and well considered.
An uncommon perspective in psychiatric care
Linda Perry is one of the few psychiatric prescribers whose background also includes midwifery. As a certified nurse midwife as well as a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, she brings an unusually broad understanding of mental health across major life transitions.
That perspective is especially valuable when medication questions arise during pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, or family-building — but it also informs her work more broadly. Many patients are looking not only for a prescriber, but for someone who can think carefully, see the bigger picture, and help make sense of complicated decisions.
That is the heart of Linda’s practice.
